Can't believe the show was ONLY on the air originally for just 3 years. But it has been in syndication for OVER 30 YEARS!!! I used to love coming home from school and watching Gilligan's Island!!! 'Gilligan,Lil Buddy'!!!

Some questions about Gilligan's Island?

Why did Mr. Howell bring all that money for a 3 hr. tour??

Why did Mrs. Howell bring so MANY clothes for a 3 hr. tour,while Gilligan,Skipper and Professor wore the same thing everyday??

Why did Ginger come some dressed up in an Evening Gown for a 3 hr. tour?

What kinda batteries were in that radio that they used?? I wanna know so I can go buy them,they lasted 3 years!!

Why were Millionaires The Howell's hanging around the likes of the Gilligan and the Gang,when they could have afford their own yacht??

If the Professor was so smart and could make things out of nothing but he couldn't figure a way off the island??

Why didn't any of the single guys try to knock up Ginger or Mary Ann??

Why couldn't the Coast Guard/Navy find them but all different types of Movie/TV stars sure found them week in and week out??

Just a few thoughts.............

It was a very popular show but the CBS executives cancelled it out because they were starting a move away from situation comedies. It was a shame. It could have lasted a couple of more seasons.
