Personaly. I think the joke is when Sweetwater people want to go back to the 30s to be able to prove they are dominant over Snyder..... Snyder likes to talk about the present and future.... Sweetwater likes to dwell on ancient history. True signs of programs with different focus..

well what can be said, wylie cheats to stay 3A, snyder recruits, and sweetwater continues to drop in enrollment haha

heres my future outlook, after several ppl from snyder and wylie see the corruption in the schools and athletic programs, they'll move to sweetwater and boost the enrollment back up, leaving wylie and snyder at 3A, and Sweetwater back to 4A, so then everybody will be happy

like ive said a million times over, and as you put it, no one cares about polls it all reflects that indivduals preferences. But when we play in Oct, then we'll see who is the better team no matter what the rankings say.

i try not to let this poll get under my skin every week, but i guess i just can't help it. a team that has gone 31-1 over the last 2 years and 2 weeks deserves more respect than the buckeyes are getting. every other poll i have seen has us from 2nd to 10th. we seem to have more respect from the average fan than we do from the reporters. oh well, i guess i shouldn't get so worked up about it. anyway there are some dang good teams in the top 10 so i don't know who i would take out.

Stuff happens... Sealy went 63-2 maybe (help me if I'm wrong, but I think that is it ) during their run of 4 straight titles, '94-'97, and entered the '98 season ranked #1 in the state... they lost their second game of the year and were knocked out of the first round of the playoffs by 2A move-up Vanderbilt-Industrial...

You live, and you learn, I guess... 31-1 can help your team strive to improve on the record, but does not guarantee you success on the football field with a new team...

I agree, Gilmer should be in the top ten. Don't worry, at the end they will be up there just like last year. :)
