If TCU wins (which they won't) it will say a lot.

TCU's d-line is killing OU in the trenches... and the front eight are getting to Peterson real quick. But it looks like OU found their QB... hope TCU can keep getting that pressure in the second half.

my boss, an OU fan, said:
"i dont mind losing... its bound to happen, but when you show me nothing, no offense, no defense, no special teams, you deserve to lose"

The ESPN announcers said that this was the biggest win in TCU football history and whereas it may be true this century and recently there have been other victories that were important. Time for some Phil C history on TCU.
One of the biggest victories was during the 1938 year when Davy O'Brien won the Heisman at QB for TCU. Remember this was when the national championship was decided by the regular season and one loss or even a tie and you were out. Their biggest scare that year was when they had to play Arkansas in a game that went back and forth. With the game tied 14 all TCU got a td to go ahead 21 to 14 but Arksansa moved down to the TCU 21 with time running out and was unable to score thus saving the win and season for TCU. TCU won the Sugar Bowl Game after the season over Carnegie Mellon 15 to 7.
Another big one was the Cotton Bowl in 1957. The Aggies were champions but were on probably and could not play post season. The Horned Frogs played 8th ranked Syracuse and the great Jim Brown. It was a great offensive game with TCU winning 28 to 27 by blocking the last extra point of the game. A big win indeed.
Of course there was the 14 to 9 victory over Texas in 1959 that gave the southwest conference title a three way tie to Texas, Arkansas and TCU and the big upset of 1961 over Texas again.
Also in 1951 TCU won the conference and the game of the year was against Baylor. Baylor scored first but TCU tied the game at 7 to 7. Later TCU got the go ahead td to go ahead 14 to 7 and even got another one to win 20 to 7.
Yes the OK game was a great win for TCU but there have been some other big ones in the past though they are from a long time ago but they were very big then indeed.
