WOW what a game!!! It rained the entire game. The Mustangs took an early lead with a bubble screen that went for about 45 yards.

Then the Hawks gave up a int for a TD. But that would be the end of the Mustangs offensive threat.

The Hawks running backs pounded and pounded at the defense and in the second half it really showed. Great running and a superb second half defense made this a great home opener for the Hawks. The weather caused about 7-8 turnovers. With the Hawks winning the turnover battle.

Thanks. It was good to see the team be able to come back from a big deficit.

I heard that they lost their QB to off the field problems? Manslaughter charges and posession of marijuana?

Congrats Hawks. Sounds like Ingleside needs to adjust to the loss of Stacey and try and get everything clicking again. Wonder who QBed tonight?

I believe it was #'s 10 and 24.

I can't believe they were still trying to run plays out of the shotgun after they fumbled it about 3-4 times in a row.

These buncha young guys will bounce back I'm sure once they get either Coffield or Chrisman some snaps in practice this coming week. :)

Congratulations, Zapata. You kids hung in there and pulled off the win... sounds like a team with a lot of mental toughness.

The Chrisman kid is talented and big, but young. It'll take a little while to get all the kinks out of the offense but it's always good to get the kinks worked out in non district.

Good luck, Zapata. Great game.
