Vernon's defense looked good. They stopped Altus several times after the offense gave up good field position inside the 20. Altus kicked 3 field goals. Vernon's offensive line needs work. They do have some good backs though. Had 3 dropped passes that would have made an impact on the game.

Altus was much bigger and they had a very good team. Altus is an Oklahoma 5A school the city is about 30,000 people. Even though the Lions lost I thought they looked good tonight.
