Vidor looked good early and went up on the eagles 10-0. BH came back by halftime to score with 4 seconds left score was 20-16 at the half BH was up. After half time it was all BH, VIdor did have some opportunities but the BH D held tough. Vidor should do well in their district.

Great job Eagles. Stay healthy, focused, and committed and this will be an exciting season. Both offense and defense is hitting on all cylinders. Keep it up.

I am really impressed by the final score. Vidor is not a slough team this year. This is a good win and statment by BH/ I look for you to upset some confident folks this year.

I would like to know the total offense put up by Barbers Hill....after putting up over 500 yards last week and if I were to guess at least 400 this week the offense is not looking to shabby.

Good win for BH, still had some sloppy play, but as the season progresses, so will the team. Have a road game at Dickinson next week, followed by tough back to back games at Diboll and home for West Columbia. Should have us ready for district play.

Good job BH had me at bit worried in the first half but we were just a little more conditioned then Vidor and it showed in the second half.

Splendora beat Diboll 14-0

Vidor has the talent to be a strong team, but there is definately a lack of conditioning. Played with BH for one quarter and and were too tired to capitolize on BH misfires.
This Vidor team will not be a force until they can play for 48 minutes at the top of thier game.

Wow Didoll must be down this year. The game was great last night that BH put on, but special teams needs some major work. We can't be allowing teams the field position that Vidor had all night.

Good job BH. It was a good win but we still made to many mistakes. After the 1st quarter our young defense did exremely well (i think they just had to settle in) and the offense woke up in the second quarter also. Great job agian guys.

Huffman played Caney Creek, and won 35-27. Huffman was down 21-7 at one point, and game back to win the game.

Is huffman's defense weaker than usual or was it just a bad start for them?
