Gilmer wins 18th straight 39-0

Gilmer Buckeyes win their 18th straight game 39-0 over the Jefferson Bulldogs.

It is also the Buckeye's 27th straight regular season win.

It was the first game on the new FieldTurf surface. The company completed the field on time with the track about 1/4 finished. There will be a "G" coming for the center of the field. The first one was 20 yards wide and the band director protested that was too big. Now that G rests at the north end of the field near where the flag pole is and a 10=yard G is expected by homecoming.
