Sri Lanka donates $25000 to Katrina relief

My wife just called and said that Sri Lanka donated $25,000 for the Katrina relief fund.....I know it doesn't sound like much but considering the devestation that their country took on with the Tsunami.

i donated a bit of money yesterday, i also spoke w/ my commander about volunteering to go help w/ the relief and rescues in new orleans. it wont happen due to red tape, but i still wanna go help.

found out my sister is there now on one of the naval ships.

also found out that there are three hundred evacuees here in forney. the church were they are staying has been bombarded with volunteers and donations.

That is so nice to hear, that these recent victims are giving back.
