It is a steady rain but the field will be muddy. Hopefully no one will get injured during the game. Also let's hope it stops by game time.

. :hairpunk: There is some lightning off to the northwest of Sinton. What are the rules when it comes to suspending play as far as the lightning is concerned?

edited to correct spelling error

A little rain won't hurt an old, "gnarly", dude like you, Phil. But you're right---it's a lot more pleasant activity when it's not raining. We sat in a "monsoon" downpour that never let up from start to finish last year at Bridgeport's 2nd playoff game against Iowa Park. The worst part was that we lost the game after enduring that punishment by the weather. Best of Luck tonight, Phil.

I just got off work and it is slick out there. Good luck to everyone driving to and from the game.

Thank you Bull. It is still raining and very cloudy so this is going to be one of those long steady rains it looks like. Hopefully it will stop by game time but field will be wet, muddy and messy. It is a shame to have it happen to your first home game because then the field is messed up for the rest of the year but that happens.

Basically the rule is that if you play at night you got to have lighting! :D :D
