BAGWELL AT BAT

First inning

Runners on second and third, no outs: Bagwell gets a standing ovation when he's introduced. He then takes the first three pitches, two balls and a strike, before swinging and missing at the next two pitches. He gets a rousing ovation after striking out.

Fourth inning

Leading off: Another huge ovation, but a fairly quick at-bat. Bagwell takes a ball, a called strike, another ball and then swings and misses for strike two. He then looks at a called third strike.

Sixth inning

Runner on second, one out: Bagwell looks at all five pitches thrown his way: A ball, a strike and then three more balls for a walk. The crowd immediately boos San Antonio starter Rich Dorman.

Ninth inning

Leading off: Bagwell sandwiched a swinging strike around two balls and then reached out and flied out to left field about 15 feet from the warning track. It's the only contact he makes all night.

i was at the game last night, he wore number 55, he looked bad, he was trying to swing to the fences on a few AB's but his full swing wasn't all there. He did get an ovation from the crowd everytime he stood up though

he has really stunk it up for the astros lately so they dropped him down to double A.

ah i see...quite sad to break up the B's, but ya gotta do whatcha gotta do!

that is true but i actually thought he was hurt and before they come back and are in rehab i thought they play with the minors

it will be a hard road for bagpipes but i think he is HOF material and so is Biggio

Bagwell did better last night, going 2-4 with two singles and an RBI.

Good to see nothing has changed in his game. Maybe they will stich his behind to a chair and he won't have to return at all.
