Sweetwater has won one 1985 4a state champs. Its the 20th anniversery this year another state title would be a great gift for the anniversery.

I'm not sure what else, but I know we won the state championship in spelling this past spring. :)

Gainesville Leopards have 2, in basketball 2002, football 2003. And 3 losses in the state final game, 1974, 1976 and 1978.

Greenwood went to State 3 years in a row.....first year for softball, second year in Football and third year in basketball.....had to settle for 2nd place each time!:weeping:

But back to the subject at hand, Sinton's last appereance in a title game in football was in 2001 and we lost to Everman. :( This team is pretty good, but I won't go so far as to put them at the State game this year. :rolleyes: I'll be the first to admit we may have to wait a few years for another team like we had in 2001 :weeping: Until then we will keep on supporting our team and putting up with haters. :p

BTW: And this is not a stab at your team...

I don't know much about West Columbia so can you tell me when your last appereance was in a title game or the furthest your team has gone into the playoffs in any classification? Thanks.
