Nearly all churches have taken in refugees in a wonderful show of caring. The Sabine-Neches Chief Mutual Aid Organization is active in actuating the overall "Emergency Response Effort".
It is just amazing how well coordinated the effort is in these rough times. When a plea goes out for certain items-- donations are arriving in a timely manner. It will be a long time before anyone can return to a large area of Louisiana.
It is kind of overwhelming to realize that over 1,000,000 jobs have been lost in the impacted area--just for starters.
The Christian action effort across the board is just marvelous!
