Just post them here. Sinton has another tri tournament tonight in Sinton with Falfurrias and Three Rivers. All three teams are good so they should be good matches. Falfurrias has been in playoffs the past several years and Three Rivers is always a very good 2A school. Games start at 4:30 P.M. today.

The Sealy Lady Tigers v-ball team has been doing pretty good and will suprise d-20. Bellville better watch out!!!


You should see the support the girls have been getting from the school's Krunk Krew. They are so loud the other team can't keep their composure.

Good to hear this SealyLB.
I don't remember if it was finals or semifinals, but Sealy and Bellville played each other at state 8-9 years back when they were in different regions. Then Sealy's volleyball program kind of went south. Hopefully they are back.
District has pretty much been columbus and Bellville for quite a few years.
It will be okay if Lady Tigers beat Columbus, but earth may spin off axis if Sealy beats Bellville, so please don't do it.

Sinton beat Fal (don't have the scores)

BUT then 2A Three Rivers (and their monster hitter) slammed Sinton 3 games to 1!! :eek: That girl was unreal!! :clap: Scores were 17-25, 25-15, 22-25 and 21-25.

I think they play in a tourney in Victoria this weekend. Won't be going to that w/ the way gas prices are rising. I'll be content to just watch them play at home. :D

The girls played great tonight pirate4state. All three teams played well and are good. That No. 15 for Three Rivers was awesome but both Fal and us fought them well and the games were close and the points were not easy to come by. Thank goodness No. 15 is a senior this year and that Three Rivers is in 2A. They should do well indeed as long as No. 15 is playing. Falfurrias is also very good and I wouldn't be surprised if we play them again. We beat them 3 to 0 and Three Rivers beat them 3-1 but the games were all very tough. A good mini tournament tonight and I don't mind paying the extra $1 for games like that. Of course the gasoline prices are killers. Sinton looks good especially with the number of freshmen we are playing and the future looks bright this year and in future years.

The Three Rivers Girl No. 15 is Stephanie Robbins.

I guess it's the end of the world because the earth is gonna spin off axis after our girls get through with Bellville. Dem bellville girls are gonna be looking pretty ugly because our girls are gonna spike it in their faces!!! I wish the best of luck to the Brahmaettes because they are gonna need it. Represent D-20!!!

Sealy and Bellville should always be in same district. It wasn't same when they weren't and even in different regions for awhile.
Bellville lost to St Agnes tuesday nite. We played pretty inconsistently, especially our return of serve. St Agnes has good team though, hit well, serve well, block well. Do you remember Dickie thon that played shortstop for Astros back in 80's? Well his daughter plays on st Agnes team. Sets/spikes/digs/ hell of a server. She's a junior and she was best player on court.
We'll look each other up at one of the games down the road.
Is the 73 in your screen name your graduation year, current football number or some other hidden meaning? In other words, maybe we can drink a beer after the game if you're old enough.

I agree with you, Sealy and Bellville should always be in the same district and i hate to see the day that they aren't. Sealy also lost last night to Lamar but the team still greatly improved and the stands were filled up for the first time in a long time. Lamar's hitters were very talented and we had trouble stopping them. I am a current student at Sealy High School and 73 has multiple meanings. Chances are you'll see me at one of the games in the stands with our "Krunk Krew" cheering on our girls to victory. I look foward to district and the Bellville games.

BTEXDAD i'm one of LB73s friends and i will also be at the games in the KRUNK KREW....i was just curious who your daughter is..and what her specialty is...i wish luck to all D-20 volleyball teams this week and cant wait till district comes around...

Krunk Krew
Daughter is number five. Plays defensive specialist and sometimes libero.
You'll notice her, she's shortest one on team.
More suited for softball, but she still likes volleyball a lot.
Hope Sealy girls win all their district games (except the ones against Bellville).

If I remember right it was a Austin County shot-out for the 3a state championship, and Bellville won all games aginst Sealy and won big to take the State championship!
