how'd the Hooks do with Backe pitchin?

hey d303app, i was listening to the start of the game on the radio and heard that Backe had a few ks. if you were at the game, fill me in with the rest por favor.

The Hooks lost 6-5. Dropped them 1 game back behind Midland and SA for the 2nd half title. They made a late comeback ,but fell short. Backe gave up a 2 out 2 run HR in 1st ining. Settled down after that. Had 4 strikeouts in 3 inings. Supposed to pitch again on Friday and throw a few more pitches and innings. Bagwell to make his Hooks debut tonite!! This is great for CC baseball and South Texas to be able to see this quality of baseball and major leaguers this close to home.

sounds like it was a fun game. i bet tonight will have the same excitement with Bagwell in there. i'll have to tune into the local sports to see the highlights.
