I paid $2.41 for gas yesterday thinking the prices were going up today, but so far I haven't seen an increase in town. 7-11 has gas at $2.43 and Shamrock & Exxon are at $2.47. Out on Hwy 77 the Shell station is $2.41.

Lets change the subject. I dive an hour a day to UH in an suv, then to make it worse, I have to turn around and go home.

When I left town, I saw that it was $2.49 at Walmart. Out here in Greenwood it was $2.55......I screwed up and didn't fill up where I should, so I did it on the interstate.....at $2.62 a gallon.

When I got to Cuero, the gas was $2.46 at one place, so I decided I would fill up there before I went home....once again, I forgot and about 20 miles down the road I had to pay $2.49 a gallon.

I have been paying 2.69 for several weeks up here. My son just called and they told him it would be @ $3 either tomorrow or the next day. Yet another reason to hate middle of nowhere Kansas

Gobbler it is just the fat cats wanting to get more money from greed and selfishness. They are just using the hurricane as an excuse. We have had hurricanes before without having gasoline prices go up.

They are opportunist gobbler. It was like the so called gas shortages in the 70s that we had. Filling stations were running out of gasoline and a lot of them had none to sell. Amazing though that once the gasoline prices got up there was pleanty of gasoline and no more shortages. Yes I think there was a connection there.

Yesterday morning gas in Muleshoe was $ 2.47; went up to 2.79 by 6:00 pm. The gas prices are going to affect how many fans attend away games..

I paid $2.69 per Gallon in Wachahachi (SP) this afternoon, it was $2.73 everywhere else in town. What gripes my butt is that this was probably the same gas that was already in the underground tank yesterday that was selling for $2.49 per gallon. I can understand the upcomming higher prices due to the problems and shortages caused by the hurricane, but how does that effect the gas already in the lines and storage tanks.

Explain how gas can go up at one station 2 times in one day. Geez.... Loves raised their prices to 2.899 and then 45 min. later it was 3.059....the other places kept theirs at 2.899
