Yoakum Beat Gonzales last night 13-1.
My Gobblers fell asleep and Edna won 4-1. Yoakum 18-1 & 11-0 in District.
Gonzales 16-4 & 8-3
Cuero 15-5 & 7-4
Edna 10-9 & 6-5

Cuero moves back into 2nd place after 2-1 win over Gonzales. Ray Maldonado (6-2) is the winning pitcher. Gobblers have two district wins over the Apaches.Maldonado struck out 16 and walked 2.
Yoakum beat Luling 6-0. B.J. Boening winning pitcher (7-0).
Edna beats Industrial 6-2.

To Old Cardinal. Yoakum has clinched the Dis. 29 championship with 2 games to go in district. 12-0 so far. Cuero is (8-4) in 2nd by virtue of it's 2 win's over Gonzales(8-4), but the Gobblers have one loss each to Edna ,who is 7-5 and Industrial who is 5-7. Gonzales also has 2 losses to Yoakum . So the 2nd and 3rd place playoff spots are still up for grabs with 2 games remaining.

Gobblers beat Palacious 2-1 to clinch the second playoff spot. Gonzales beat Edna 9-4 for the third. Yoakum who clinched the district championship last week won 5-0 over Goliad.
