BU97, i saw the game fri.i really felt bad for the kids,i know EC won but the best team with the best atheletesdid notwin.I have a ? for you,the spread offense is a good offense the tigers run very good but i think there times for example when the score was 18-7 tigers favor we have the ball would it not be better to run #5 at fb,and run #31 at tb run some clock off.I think you might consider running some from the i formation with #31 6-1 210 4.5 cause this might be the year the spread formation may not work,What im trying to get at is the qb is not a spread formation type of qb need to put in a offense that best suits his talent.By the way the qb is a very good athelete but not in a spread offense.

Ansley's stats in Fri. game are almost identical to Trey Jones' stat vs. EL Campo in '03

Or thinks you fellas in Wharton don't know what you are doing.

OK first of all I don't read much on 3ADL during the season, occasionally on the weekend to see some scores but that is pretty much it. Why? #1 I don't have time. #2 This reason right here, people telling me what they "sure would like to see."

Since you were at the game then you know that we had the ball 4 plays after we went up 18-7, so saying that we needed to run clock off in the 2nd quarter doesn't make much since to me. But, you are obviously smarter than I am, I mean we went up and down the field in our offense and got a lead, so since we are up 11 whole points with 32 minutes still to play we ought to change the whole offense!

Why don't we change our whole offensive philosophy b/c of one sub-par game against a dang good team. Or even better I can post the changes on here so that everyone can know what we will be doing. I bet Cuero would appreciate that

If he is a coach, why wasn't he at his own game?

i know that if i bas a coach in BC i would be worried about my kids playing on sat than aonther team playing on friday.

also, instead of playing monday morning OC, I would be worried about how to fix the problems that BC had on sat --

Bay City 14 LaMarque 35

i doubt that he is a coach there either.

Or maybe just trying to offer a friendly helping hand. Is that wrong?

Our boys are excellent athletes and will prove this fact out as the season progresses. This was just one ballgame for pete's sake. There are many more to go and let's hope all can make the right adjustments for the new personnel.

Red Raider i'm just glad your not in Bay City, the coaching staff there would not ever except just winning 5-6 games a year with that kind of talent.Explain this raider 2000 every year the tigers have 7-8 starters on offense,7-8 starters on defense great size & speed only win 5-6 games. You guys got beat by a good young EC team, let me add A VERY WELL COACHED TEAM.As far as BC we will win district and make a good playoff run.Come nov come watch us play i know you will have plenty of time, maybe not basketball season.

Where do ya'll think Wharton is going to wind up in 25-3A? First, second, Third, Fourth?

Hey Gato,

You sound way toooooo confident to be a coach in BC. I don't know where you work, but I bet it isn't at the HS. But if we are making predictions, like you just did. I bet that ya'll don't win the district championship, and I bet the EC surprises ya'll. BC by 2 over EC.

fbcoachb40 are you on the current coaching staff?I don't think a coach from BC would ever say on a public forum ( i dont think we can win the district championship)We have a young defense but come district we will be ok,we have a lot of soph that have stepped up and can play.As far as EC they always play us tough,as long as Gillis is there, they will always be tough.

pancho-

i know that and you lnow that....but does he know that???? lets not tell him :)

i actually think that he was meaning to be helpful, but i dont goto to the saturday night comedy show and start giving ideas to DAve Chappelle on how to be funny.

i let the pros handle their jobs and then talk bad about them like the rest of the Joe Schmoes.

monday morning QB/OC whatever you wanna call it should be limited to people that know whats goin on.....where is willie wonka when we need him :)

Honestly i havent really thought about this much--its still the first couple of weeks into the season, and we are working with a new group of guys this year!

They are all great athletes, cut them a little slack! I saw a few differences in the team that night and i am excited and ready to see where our guys go this year!

I wish them the best of luck....GO TIGERS!! I'll be there on the sidelines cheering ya'll on!!!

GO BIG BLUE!!!

Yes, our boys are good, they are very good. How far will they go, only time will tell....one game at a time!

I'm here to support those young men who put on the blue and red every week, go out and play their hearts out. This is a team like I've never seen here before, much more heart, drive and team spirit than ever before. They'll represent 25-3a very well. With a little more playing time and experience, look out!!!! If any team can get the job done, it's this one!

Go Big Blue and know I'm always behind you, 200%!!!!!!!
