I'd have Madison at numero uno on the list, but then again I'm biased. :) This past friday night reinforces for me though that anything less than a state title for them will be a disappointment. I know the players and coaches have that as a serious goal and I'd have to agree with them as long as Davidson progresses at QB throughout the season.

It's a weak region somebody had to go there. I believe they will rebound this week.

I know my team got beat by a good 4A (Mt Pleasant) and its next game is against an Arkansas 5A. Atlanta plays just about all 4A's in non district. I just named two teams out of the same district let alone Region II. Also dont't throw out Daingerfield same district as above mentioned..As you can see 14 3A can get ugly come district time. But time will tell...

What I meant by weak is that they don't have alot of power houses be the ones who are good , they are dang good. Just not alot of GOOD teams. that's why you are playing 4A's

madison may be the best ,after they took out soc- w/h combo it speakes for itself.

perhaps the soc-w/h combo was a bit over-hyped ...

The combination of WH/SOC wasn't over-hyped. They just happened to run into one of the best defenses, if not the best, in Class 3A. Everytime Xavier Rambo (Kansas recruit I believe) went deep for SOC the CB was right there with him step for step and they never could get a thing going all night because of how ineffective the passing game was. SOC will still go on to make the playoffs in 4A and go at least 2 rounds, but they may have already faced the toughest defense they will see until the playoffs start.
