Just heard a player on Bellvilles freshman team broke his back in the game vs Caldwell. This Freshman team has been undefeated since they started playing in the 7th grade. Prayers go out to him and his family. Was told the young man would never play sports again, because of this type of injury.
Good luck to him on a good and speedy recovery!

there is actually a fund for this, they are usually at the larger sporting events. i will post the name later, if you enjoy high school sports, next time you see them drop in a dollar or two

My heart breaks for this fine young man and his family. God moves in mysterious ways, as I can attest to, I just wish we better understood quickly. My prayers will be with him and his family as they come to grips with this injury, the emotional drain of medical treatment, and the life changes that this brings. If they read this, I am here for y'all. We've been there, done that, except with the knee. But I can certainly relate to the player's anguish and the parents' emotions. God bless you all.
