Yea, the columns won't line up, the first column is their place in ranking, the second is the name of the school, the third is the number of games they have played and the last column is how many points per game they have allowed. So yea, it says Newton has allowed 0 points after two games.

For the past 6 or 7 years, Newton has been pretty stout.

This year's honor for the first three games would definitely have to go to Newton.

Newton does have a good defense but they have not played anyone either. This looks like one of the easiest schedules that I have seen Newton play in a long time. 4 out of the 5 predistrict teams may not win a game the whole season. Not typical of a Newton schedule.

Is it true that in the Alfonso vs. Newton game that the punter punted the ball to the Newton punt returner and the guy punted it back to the other team?

I'm saying they punted on the same play, when the Newton guy caught it I heard that he picked it up and punted it back.

The score was 42-0 at the half and the final was 52-0 after a fieldgoal on first down and an interception run back by a sophmore.

Many of you may laugh at this statement, but the Ferris defense is going to be real good. WHen they get a couple of guys healthy watch ou tfor them. I am not saying they are the best in the state, but they WILL be REAL good. They are improving each week. PLayed a great game vs a VERY physical Fairfield team. THey had four starters out for most of the game, and three more banged up.
