Vernor & Minks swap out on a regular basis, as they did last year before Minks broke his ankle mid-season. They are both good QB's, though if you asked them, I doubt either is completely satisfied with their preformance in Yoakum. They were just abit off with their timing or they would have hit Yoakum with even more long gains than they had. Has anyone seen the final stats yet? Did Fields break 100 yds. receiving?

Not too bad, considering all they lost from last years team. But they really only had one good drive on offense, and it was snuffed out at the goal line, so it may take them awhile to get the offense running smoothly. Defense could be a problem for the Dogs though. The score could have been alot worse if it hadn't of been for all the penalties and open receivers the QB's just missed hitting, slowing the Necks offense down. That really helped Yoakum keep the game closer than it probably should have been.
