It was either 40 or 47 - 0. Sealy had the most turnovers that I have ever seen.

Sealy was blown out. Giddings has a pretty good rb that is about 250lb.

We saw that RB first hand in our scrimmage with Giddings. He is a monster!! Saw a similar, but not as equally talented, RB at Sweeny last night, 6'0 248. He could, pretty well, bull his way thru anything.

hmm....I kinda had a feeling Giddings might have something special this year. Guess we'll see for sure as the season progresses. Looks like 19 3A could have some very interesting matchups. Cameron, Hutto and Giddings all won via blowout. Manor & Smithville (?!?!?) won their respective games and we've yet to see Rockdale & La Grange but both USUALLY have winning seasons. Hopefully Caldwell will bounce back and add even more dimension to what will be a very interesting race.

Looks like Sealys Offense and defense stayed in Sealy?

What happened to Sealy? Is the talent all gone or is it that Mills is no longer there?

There were 43 people that were treated for heat related problems. 9 went to the hospital. None were football players. All band or drillteam. When I left, the parking lot it was full of EMS trucks, 9 ambulances, 3 fire trucks. 3 more went bye me on the way home. I spoke to one girl and she said she had 1 bottle of water all day and did not eat breakfast. Also, the band director had not told them to push fluids. Go figure.

That might have been the worst football game I have ever witnessed. The heat wasen't that bad for me since we have been practising in it and all but, it was just boreing. Giddings ran two differnt plays Triple Option left and Triple Option Right and Sealy ran a Iso where the RB fumbled everytime or a bouble pass that the WR dropped. Although Giddings clearly dominated it didn't really look like they played all that well.

Like I posted earlier, why play a game at 1:00 in the end of August in 100+ degree heat? A coach from Giddings gaged the temp on the field saturday and the temp was 120+ on the field.

None of the players, coaches, etc.. were efected. It was the band, drill, parents, etc.. who were in the stands.

Also, the majority of the "sick" had the "copycat syndrome", that was until the EMS busted out the IV bags and needles.
Most of them recovered real quick and left the room.

Good thing there were only about 80-100 fans in the stands, on Sealys side, else there would have been alot more get sick.
