Dunno about 3A, but in 4A Frenship upset a highly ranked Boerne team last night in SA, and I believe it was a blowout...

I would say our win was an upset. Not the biggest in the state, but we were 0-10 last year and beat a 4A team last night.

The Bellville over Caldwell. Caldwell was highly ranked in about everyone's polls. I think they won't hit their stride till mid season. Due to the fact of getting used to a new coach and system. But I predicted the upset.

All polls aside, though, it went how it should have, one of the two teams won in a close game...

i was upset that gaineville had a couple of td's called back, does that count??

Well now that I learn of these td's being called back, I am upset as well... woulda made it even sweeter against them Cali boys...

cali had some size, but very little speed to speak of. gainesville's qb fumbled on the 2 yard line, the ball bounced perfectly to a cali player. he took off, all the sudden you see a gainesville player start off after him. the cali player is on about 25-30 yard line and gville player on the 10-15 yard line. gville player catches him before he gets to the 50 and pile drives him into the ground. it was pretty awesome to see that speed running down the field.

I don't know if they would be considered upsets, but the score was more lopsided than expected in Pittsburg,, Daingerfield game and in the Royse City, Celina game.
