Well the Cowboys lost the season opener. The game at first seemed to be heading to a shootout as the teams exchanged scores and the end of the 1st quarter read 13-13. Then the turnovers came and so did a special teams play that resulted in a quick score and Poteet build a cushion. Cotulla kept literally throwing away oppurtunities the rest of the game. Five turnovers never help. All in all however the team shows good potential, and didn't seem upset about this loss. Hopefully we can clean up those turnovers and get on the right track next week with 2A Stockdale.
