ROYSE CITY – Celina (1-0) running back Chase Hall ran for two touchdowns and quarterback Nathan Tune threw for another to lead Celina to a 35-0 blanking of Royse CIty (0-1).
Hall finished with ten carries for 92 yards to lead all rushers. Tune was 9-of-18 for 141 yards.
Defensively Celina held Royse City to zero rushing yards in the first half and 37 for the game. Royse City had just four first downs.
Royse City made it to the Celina 16-yard line in the fourth quarter but Philip Ormstom intercepted the Royse City pass in the endzone, giving Celina the shutout.
Cameron Holliness led Royse City with 30 yards in seven carries.
