A very good defensive game in Austin tonight as UT won 1 to 0. Kelsey Carpenter scored with less than two minutes left in the first half to give Texas their only score but that was enough with great defensive play to give Texas the win in their season opener and their first over SMU who always has a good soccer team. Way to go Lady Longhorns!!
