I just paid $510 for my freakin books, and what makes me mad is that ill prolly only get $100 back for all of them when i sell them at the end of the semester

If (and that's a huge IF you have time), ebay can really save you some money. I know the first 2 or 3 semesters it's very hard to do, but my daughter saved me quite a lot using ebay her last 2 years.

Half.com and Amazon.com have paid out pretty well for my girlfriend. Much higher than selling back to the bookstore.

Isn't that the truth! Usually my son's books are $125-$175 each for used. If he's lucky, they'll pay $10-$20 to buy them back, normally they have discontinued that edition. :(

Yeah...i feel your pain...i paid $516.63

Organic Chemistry Book was - $187.25
Orgo Lab Book - $117
American Literature - $48.50
Forensic Entomology - $30
Forensic Entomology Lab - $100~

So it hurts...ouch...but i usually keep my books...i don't sell them...unless they aren't useful to me.
