Interesting thought on quality and quanity of education
It was once said, "If you think education is expensive, try ignorance!"
Consider these statistics on average annual salaries by education attained.
High School Dropout $ 18,900
High School Grad $ 25,900
Bachelors Degree $ 45,400
Graduate Degree $ 99,300
Over the course of the average working life, considered to be 25-64 an advanced degree can mean more than 2 million in lifetime earnings for most.
There is one sobering thought however, in that 42 % of the Bachelors Degrees awarded today are in subjects that will not get you immediate employment.
