The 2005 Coastal Bend HS Football Preview is in today's paper. Make sure you get a copy as this year there seems to be expanded coverage on our local teams.:clap:

I love how everyone but John Allen, sports editor picked sinton as the team to go the furtherst this year in the playoffs... All the sports writers have sinton picked to win district... 2 have DRam as the offensive player of the year...

It's cool that Daniel is getting some preseason recognition. If he can back it up and stay healthy those season predictions look pretty good.:cool:
I wouldn't be suprised if Ueckert joins the post season CCCT area team.

The thing I liked about it was the first word on the Sinton write up is Cuero :D

Okay ! I didn't come thru Sinton today. Came down Hwy35. Maybe next week when i come thru Sinton i'll get one.

I just noticed that the Caller's preview had Sinton's key game against Cuero. :eek: Everyone else (as far as Dist. 30) it is a district game and ours is a non district game!! :rolleyes: Is there something wrong with this picture? :thinking: I'm not saying it is a bad thing, just weird!!! :D Heck, I don't know...I'm on medication right now!! :o

the Sinton/Cuero game is in the "Top 5 South Texas Games not to Miss" countdown this year. It joins CC Carroll/Victoria Memorial, Carroll/GP, GP/Calallen, and Calallen Flour Bluff....
It stated that the only reason its not a top 3 game (it was #4, ahead of GP/CCC) was because it wasnt a playoff game.... yet ;)
