Sorry for the late update, but I was gone the weekend. The young ladies from La Grange beat a California team by a score of 4 - 1 on Friday for the semi-final game. This win advanced them for the Junior Softball Little League World Championship against a team from Florida. They lost to a great team by a score of 4 - 0.
Sometimes you do not remember who finishes second, but #2 in the World is not bad. La Grange should be represented well in Softball for years to come, considering these young ladies are Freshman and eight graders, with La Grange winning State this past year in softball with both pitchers coming back.
