I am asking for your prayers and thoughts for my dad. He was taken to the hospital yesterday having severe chest pains. My dad isn't one to complain much, and hates hospitals. So when he ask to go to one, you know it something wrong. They will do more testing today.

Thanks!
Donna

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. Dad went home this evening. His blood work showed he did not have a heart attack, but he will have a stress test this coming Monday. He has a positive family history for heart disease

Having lost both my parents within a year I know the tension you were going through. I'm glad your dad is ok and these kind of things are a wake up call to everybody to spend more time with your parents. They won't be here forever and believe me you'll miss them so much when their gone. Everybody take a little of your busy time during the week to call or go see your parents and let them know you love them.

Continued prayers going out for your dad and your family!

Isn't it great that we still have the freedom to ask for, and receive, prayers! God is great!

pantherpop, you are wise. I am glad her dad is home and will follow up with more tests. Your advice to let your parents know you love them TODAY is so accurate. I was talking to my mom one minute and five minutes later she had a heart attack and never regained consciousness. What I wouldn't give for thirty more seconds just to tell her I loved her one more time. I will cont. prayers for exbccards76'smom's father as he undergoes those tests.

pantherpop, that's a good call, but also consider extending thanks to some of those old coaches and teachers that helped you during your early formative years.

Of course, some of you youngsters are still forming!!!!!!!!!!!!
