October 15th...

In stage order...

Darryl Lee Rush (pretty sure it's Texas Music, have never heard of him

Rand Rogers Band (Oh Hell yah, very good Texas Music Band, love 'em)

SHeDaisy (not a big fan, but they're hot, so they're cool)

Clint Black (not a mainstream Country Music fan, but I liked Clint Black as a kid etc... so it'll be cool)

Seether (a little 'dark' for me, but they're a good popular band, so it'll be fun)

Good Charlotte (Don't like 'em too much, and they'll bring a buncha jail bait along with 'em, but atleast I get to say "I saw them play Shiner, Texas")

And last, but not least, I prayed and prayed for this band to play here, and I got it....

ADUSIOSLAVE (Hell Yes)

drink it up...

Darryl Lee Rush - Never hear of him

Rand Rogers Band - Don't care too much for them

SHeDaisy - Someone poke a pencil in my ears.

Clint Black - Good country music

Seether - Best band on the bill IMO.

Good Charlotte - good pop-punk, not a favorite of mine, but could stand the show.

AUDIOSLAVE - Liked them a heck uva lot better w/ zach. Would still like to see'em play though.

I think the correct lineup of events are as follows:

October 15th

Beer drinking

Followed by More Beer drinking

Then we proceed to other types of alcohol consumption

Followed by acting stupid

Then more beer drinking

Then wondering who the hell was making all that racket up on the stage. Don't they know that I'm just hear to drink.

Followed by killing some one on the drive home.

followed by more beer drinking

I'm going to Czhilispiel... 4th weekend in October. Less hype, just as much beverage and more friendly (less commercial) environment.

And standing in line at the port-o-potty...

That almost ruined it for me last time... luckily I made it in time...

Sure made the two guys infront of me happy, I said "I'll buy the next round if you let me sneak infront of you"... most expensive p@#$ I've ever taken...

I like smaller fests and all, but there's no better way to say thank you to the citizens of Shiner for giving me such a great beer than forking over the cash and seeing some good music while I'm at it...

when I'm old and gray I get to tell the grandkids "I saw this band and that band and this band and that band play once"... and when they ask 'where' I get to say "Little ole Shiner, Texas..."

When you've had that much to drink, your Levi's are a much better place to take care of that than a port o potty.
