Sinton and Robstown scrimmaged tonight starting at 7:00 pm. Sinton won 15-6 in 3 quarters of game condition play. Robstown's only score came on one long run which was pretty much their entire offensive output. Other than that one run, Robstown did not even get a first down. I have no idea how the JV/Frosh scrimmages went.

Sinton's scoring consisted of two touchdowns, one missed extra point, one failed two point try, and one field goal from about 30 to 35 yds. The second string QB played most of the third quarter. I was told that Sinton is currently missing both starting defensive tackles because of injury to one last week, and the other is having problems with an abcessed tooth. Overall, a decent outting for the 2005 Pirates.

I'm sure they kept stats, our coaches nearly always do, but all I can tell you for sure is that Robstown only crossed the 50 once, and that was on their one run for a td. I did not see a first down by Robstown. Sinton worked on the passing game a lot, trying to get the timing down and get Daniel into a rythym. I know he threw one interception into the endzone which killed another scoring opportunity. Overall, the defense looks ready, and the offense is close to it.
