Alright all you Sinton Pirate fans are we ready to cheer on
the Pirates to another great year. The days are closing in
and their ship is gearing up to set sail. I'm pretty sure they
ready to send them dogs back to the pound on Aug 26.

How does it scoot back and forth? Like on rails and it does that motion, and where is it located, past the endzone? I just can't picture it.

It'a a minature ship built on a golf cart. They stopped using it a few years back when the young lady driving it back and forth managed to flip it over on its side.

Was the young lady at least okay, I would feel real bad if she was badly injured....that would be kinda neat tho, having a ship go back and forth every time you score...although I wouldn't like to see it move to often in week 4!:inlove:

i never got to see the pirate ship, but i agree that it should be given another chance. it would be nice to see something new at the home games

It would be cool if we had a real one in Pirate stadium
and do a scene from Pirates Of The Caribbean before the
game starts and during half time to spark school spirit

you do realize what school you are talking about... the sinton Student section is lacking spirit that will NEVER be there.. the parents however... are a different story..

Aaron ritht. We really don't get student support at games or pep rallies for that matter. I can't remember having a good pep rally ever!!!

i can honestly say, i remember the students having school spirit in the late 80's. its sad to think they dont care about that stuff now :(
