I just got a pop up saying I won free gasoline for the year and they just needed me to fill out a survey (and of course the answers would not affect my getting the prize so it said). I filled out the survey and at the end I was diabetic but didn't have medicade or medicare so I was not eligible for the prize. :mad: I hope it pops up again. I will copy it if I can and send it to the BBB.

I hope you didn't give them any more personal info (well other than the diabetic thing)...;)

I did see on the news last night that Microsoft had won a case against a "spammer" and they were ordered to pay, I believe $7M. Microsoft was donating $5M to a fund to fight this very problem. Let's hope we start to see more people combat spam, pop-ups etc... all the anoying stuff.

Not at all. I knew better than to give them certain personal information. I wonder why they didn't just ask if I was diabetic and on medicade in the first place though. lol

Amen.. I clean out my BULK folder about 3 times a week and there is always 300 or more junk emails in it..

I know exactly what you mean! Since I can't afford to possibly block out a customer e-mail, I get about 35 per night and have to clean them out each morning. :mad:

I am really getting tired of people wanting to sell me viagra, refinance my house or visit with me because their name is Julie (a young college girl who is bored).:rolleyes: :D
