ESPN's 50 In 50 Will Be In Odessa Tomorrow!!!

ESPN's 50 States in 50 days will be at an Odessa Permian football practice tomorrow. They try to cover the entire nation in 50 days and pick the best of each state. It's pretty cool. Check it out tomorrow @ 5 p.m. during SportsCenter!!! Da da da da da da!!!

I hope the real story was better than the movie they made about that team......was the coach really that awful?? He was such a bully in the movie...

They could have done it at Westlake's facilities since they are in Austin and the Horns are in Austin and yea

THEY DIDN'T EVEN FILM IT IN ODESSA! The Football scenes were shot at North Shore HS's football feild!

And there's a Dodge Durango and another 1990's car in one of the scenes.

If they hadta pick a team during the time frame of the movie, they shoulda picked the gobblers, we definitely had a better team during that time frame, but that's just my opinion....now we're just one final appearance shy of tying the state record!

And there's a Dodge Durango and another 1990's car in one of the scenes. Yes they did film it in odessa one of my best friends is in that movie and it was all done from odessa other than the locker room scenes which were done in midland and also they did film some of it in houston.

I don't too many fond memories of living in Odessa. I worked at Odessa Medical center , and I lived on Ranchland street right across from Odessa Junior College.
