Crockett return man fumbles the initial kickoff....Palestine recovers on the 21 yard line. On 3rd play Palestine scores. Crockett immediately answers and takes the ball in for the next TD with 8 min left in 1st qtr..

Palestine High Wildcats strips the ball from the Crockett ball carrier and takes it in for another TD.

Adrian Peterson, #1 back in the nation, cuts loose for a 44 yard touchdown jog. Palestine up 21-7.

I messed uo on the previous post.. Palestine high missed their extra point...and was actually 20-7.
By halftime Crockett tacked on a field goal and went in at halftime trailing 20-10.
In the second half Crockett came on strong in keeping Palestine scoreless the entire 2nd half...Palestine pretty much went 3 and out the 2nd half. Crockett scored a on a long pass play and finished with another field goal. The game ended tied at 20-20.
Overtime. Crockett scored 1st on a pass play and PAT. Palestine on 2nd play completes a pass to the 3 yard line. then a penalty against Crockett moves the ball inside the 2 yard line, Adrian Peterson rams it in for the score. Decision time..they go for 2 points and make it. Final Score : Palestine 28...Crockett 27
A great battle occurred tonite in Palestine...Crockett had a great outing against a good 4A team.
