As some of you remember from a previous post about some of the football stadiums in Texas Legion Field was built around 1910, I believe. The Dawgs finally have some new digs to host visitors in. Enjoy.

Old field house, only problem was one team could get dressed at a time.

Looks alot like Sinton except the field house is not that close to the field. I think I'll take some pics tomorrow. :thinking:

actually that is an inside joke. Someone built a doghouse next to the Dawg House.

i talked with the contractor the day i took the pictures. he told me that they were trying to finish it by august 15 - i don't think they are going to make it. their contract says that they have to have it completed by september 1, so it sould be ready before the first home game on september 9.

Dutchman ,I remember playing on the old legion field aganist sam byer .Marlin was really good back then .

Marlins 1st game at home is Bellville? Who do yall (marlin) play in your 1st and 2nd game, and were?

I believe they play La Vega at waco ISD Stadium.

I saw it Saturday during the scrimmage in Marlin and it looked pretty nice.

I have been inside the new fieldhouse and it is going to be really nice. It is loooong overdue and much needed. I know the kids and coaches will be very proud of it and they are very deserving of it as well.

I went through Marlin for the first time in my life in July. We were on the way to Waco, to the NBHA finals. The field House looks nice. Marlin seems like a nice place to live. It's not what I had pictured in my mind after all the years of listening to CUNBED10. :D Not that it matters to anyone, but Marlin is alright by me. I hope to see yall again in the playoffs.
