Astros game last night

Did anyone else notice that in one of the later innings of the game, Mike Lamb took ball four, but the umpire thought it was ball three, and Lamb ended up popping out to end the inning?

Yeah I noticed...don't the umps carry a pitch counter like LL umps? That might help...:D

OK, another question. If the Astros had ended up losing the game by a run, would they have been able to appeal the game? If not, please explain.

well the batter and coaches for the astros or someone in the astros organization shouldve been keeping count of the count...

you can only appeal right after the pitch i think, like you have to say you protest the game from this point forward and so on...if they upheld it (which wouldnt happen) they would have to start the game from that point where you protested....

Hard to believe they could miss ball four in a MLB game.

lol...ya know this year i thought i was gonna have to pull for them but alas everything righted itself and the 'stros r on top again...i dunno y the rangers continually end up in the cellar....u'd think they could get their act together for a whole season for once
