WNBA Season Winding Down!

Soon 8 teams will fight it out for the WNBA championship and a lot of spots are up for grabs. Houston has a good shot and is in second place but they have some tough competition and teams right behind them as they have seven games left. San Antonio is in last place and no chance to catch up but maybe they will get a top two or three place draft pick if they don't foolishly trade it away. Houston made a trade for Staley of Charlotte who is a great player and may help them.

Houston traded a No. 1 pick to Charlott for Dawn Staley and this lady is a great player so this is probably a wise trade. It also looks like the Connecticut Sun is going to make the playoffs which is where great UT grad Jamie Carey is playing and doing well. Good news indeed!!
