When you see a post of the person you want to ignore, click the "ignore" button. You will still see that they posted, but the post will not show unless you request it. I believe there may be some that can't be put on ignore. It will also not "ignore" threads.

Actually, you have to click on the poster's profile button, then at the bottom of the profile you have two options, add to your "buddy list" or to your "ignore list".

Concur with 66... you have to go to their profile.

YOu can also choose to not view signatures... also helpful if you have a dial up connection.
