Sorry, the only national championship the longhorns will be playing for this year will be in baseball, the men that is!

You're right about Baseball. Other possible National Championships we could/should play for this year include Football, Men's Basketball, Women's Track (which would be back to back since we were the National Champions last year), Softball, Tennis, and even our Speech Team.

We may even have a shot in Volleyball KTJ even though we lost two good seniors we have a lot of good ones returning and some outstanding recruits. Also Heather Scribner who was a basketball star will be playing this year and she was a top volleyball star in high school getting MVP in State for four straight years! Remember last year the only team that stopped them in the playoffs was eventual national championsh Stanford.

One team that may surprise everyone this year and be national champions is Notre Dame! They got a dynamic new young coach (Weiss) who has only known winning the past few years and is determined to bring back the tradition with a vengence!
