THIS YEARS BURNET TEAM IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST 3A TEAMS OF THE PAST DECADE...WHO DO YALL THINK HAD THE BEST 3A TEAM IN A SINGLE SEASON IN THE 90S AND EARLY 2000s

2000 LA GRANGE LEOPARDS
ALMOST ALL SEALY TEAMS OF THE 90S
2001-2002 EVERMAN BULLDOGS
2000 AND 2002 MARLIN BULLDOGS
2003 BURNET BULLDOGS
THATS ONLY A FEW

u cant say Burnets team is one of the best in the 90s until they win a state championship...and the Marlin teams werent that great...

THE 2000 FORNEY TEAM WAS AWESOME BUT THEY TO RAN INTO THE LEOPARDS...BLANTON WAS SOMETHING ELSE BUT IN THE END TYE GUNN LED THE LEPS TO VICTORY AND OH YEAH THEY DID HAVE A TIMELY FUMBLE RECOVERY

marlin could have beat that forney team...marlin vs lagrange would have been a classic state title game but they had to play it a week to early

The past 3 years forney has lost to the eventual state champions,

2002- Everman- Forney lost in the Div I State Semis 21-14, and the in the SC Everman beat Burnet 35-14

2001- Everman- Forney lost in the Div I Playoffs 21-17, Everman went on to beat Sinton in the SC 25-14

2000- La Grange- Lost in the SC 17-20

NOONE KNOWS if Marlin could of beat Forney, anyone could of beat anyone; Kemp could beat Burnet but knowone knows if they would beacause they will likely not play each other!!!!!!!!!

At every level of fooyball, ther are always 2 or three teams thay stick out no matter how their season was. Theres always those teams that will be ranked in the top 10 each year just because of thir reputation in the past. In 5A you got Westlake, Lufkin, and probably the Woodlands. In 4A you got Brownwood and Stephenville,and in 3A you have La Grange, Forney, and yes probabaly Burnet. Even though Burnet has only been in the spotlight the past 2 years, their players and coaches are setting a standard for the state.

If you do not have the Commerce 1999 State Champions 16 - 0 on that list you are not playing with a full deck!! Those kids when together as a team Never lost a game from the 7th grade up! The only close game was Sealy for state 17-10! They did not know how to lose. they split them up as freshman some went JV and some went varsity but when they came back together it was Katy bar the door! My child was one of them and I saw them win them all!!!!

youre right commerce did have a heck of a team in 1999 and they also had a good one when they won in 2001 beating a great la grange leopard team in waco
