It's been confirmed - The entire Gobbler Varsity football season will be broadcast by Lone Star FM 104.7 and on the internet @ www.lonestarfm.com beginning with the West Oso game. Little birdy told me they might give a "shout out" to the Downlow fans signing the infamous Downlow Flag during the Sinton game :) Thanks Danny :D

I'll PM him, in case he doesn't sign on for a few days and this thread gets "lost"

Old Green and 44INAROW, Thanks for thinking about me! I have been so darn busy this past week. All the big shots want to come to Germany in August to "work". Anyway, I tried the link listed and it says it cannot be found. What do y'all think is wrong? I would definitely listen to my Gobblers play (even with the time difference!). Let's Go Cuero!!

The site is down... but it will be up and running before the 1st game.. If for some reason the WWW changes, I'll post the new one :)

This site is up and running! However, I can't figure out the tuning and sound part. How do I get 104.7? Can anyone help, or do I have to call my computer guru?

Can you hear the "yell leader" in the stands with those snazzy boots leading the crowd in "GO MEAN GREEN" on these broadcasts?..... For opposing fans, this has to be one of the more entertaining parts of watching a Gobbler game.

I had heard a rumor that he was "retiring" the boots and his helmet.. but low and behold... he was at the scrimmage.. cheering like always.. He might be traveling to watch his son play but i bet he makes as many Gobbler Games as possible...http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b12/lowlow1/th_gobblerspregamePalestine0052.jpg

That's right- I forgot about the hard hat. Well, the mohawk is certianly interesting. As long as fans with wild appearances help to bring school spirit, I guess no one can argue with it! Good luck to y'all this year.
