Team USA won the XI FINA World Championship at 2005 and some of the UT exes did great. The USA had 32 medals overall consisting of 15 gold, 11 silver and 6 bronze. Aaron Peisol set a world record in 200m backstroke. Brendon Hansen won gold in the 100m breastroke. Ian Crocker set a world record in the 100m fly and Michael Phelps came in second. Phelps also participated in winning relays. Peisol, Hansen and Crocker also participated in the team 400m relay and they won the gold again. Good job by Team USA and UT exes!!
