I'm nervouse about our West Coast roadtrip, if we can go .500 on it I think we will be in good shape. For the most part most of the games down the stretch are at home.

i just about had enough of them early on when they couldn't get anything to roll, and then everyone went on the DL, and now they do this, and i feel like a bandwagoner because i love them, i'm so guilty

Same here. Early on I didn't care to even watch them at all, still a little peaved that they didn't keep Beltran, now they look like world beaters and I'm glued to the TV for every game. They still have to figure out how to beat the St. Louis Cardinals though.

When is the West Coast roadtrip? May not be too big of a thing. I noticed tonight that San Diego is in first place with a 51-52 record.

Even with the loss today, I still feel great about the 'Stros from here on out. They actually have 2 West Coast trips, one which starts tomorrow in Arizona and wraps up next weekend in SF. Then they go to SD and LA Aug. 22-28. Based on the records of those teams, the Astros should be able to do better than .500.

You can't exptect to win 7 out of every 8 games though.
