I think by starting at the bottom and working up instead of the usual way of top to bottom will make it work. For way too long there has been a problem in the lower classifications. I think it is a good idea.

I agree..something has gotta be done..way too much of a disparity in the lower classes.....

Disparity seems to be evident at all levels according to that article. 5A schools go from 1910 and up....I'm not sure what the largest 5A school is but I'm guessing that it has at least 3,000 kids in it. 4a is from 900 to 1910.....thats a 1000 kid difference. 3a goes from 345-899...thats only 554 kids.

I actually did the math one day last summer(I was extremely bored that day), and in order to have 32, 7 team districts in each class, you would have to go to 7A. I have submitted this idea to the UIL, but Ive recieved no response. Go figure. Guess it makes too much sense for'em.

Yes, it would make too much sense for them especially the "$$Cents$$" - unfortunatly money is always a factor.
