You have to try Köstritzer Schwarzbier... It's made by Bitburger, but is the best beer they have IMHO....

According to the readers on www.beeradvocate.com , this beer is rated #4 amongst 'Schwarzbier's, German for 'Dark Beer'...

It's in a way like Guinness, only lighter, but has some of the same flavors...

Well GREAT news, it tastes good COLD as well (that's how I had it anyway... well, the first two, the other was somewhere in the middle)....

Have you had beer from the Padre Island Brewery? I've had some of their pizza, but not their beer... I hear it is VERRRRRRY good...

Believe it or not, I've NEVER gone to the SPI brewery. I'll be in town for the "Battle of Highway 100" so I'll be sure to give it a try then.

I'll let you know what I think. I hear they also have NTN there. I LOVE playing that.

I had some Anchor Steam brand while I was in San Fran a couple of weeks ago.

Good stuff. I like NewCastle better. Dos Equis Amber rocks, but Shiner is still the fave... in Blonde, Bock, or Heffenwesier.
