Way to go Elgin! That Bellville is a good team. You could end up the Division I rep., playing that good a brand of ball!

This may be on the best groups of athletes Elgin has ever had

Good that Coach Locke, I believe his name, and the Wildcats shut up Bellville for a while. But, hey what can I say. Giddings sucks, so be easy on me.

game was tied 17-17 with about 3min left in the 4th quarter, and the qb was wrapped up going to the ground and he laterelled it to someone and they scored making it 24-17. good game to both teams

La Grange will not be as easy as you assume. Anyway, congratulations on beating Bellville.

I believe that Bellville has some people hurt right now too. But, they don't seem to make excuses. Great win for Elgin. Bellville is a good team!

Yeah, we had 3 starters out last night with injuries, our starting middle linebacker with his torn ACL most likely wont be back, and two solid offensive linemen who will probably both be back this week.

Not having the O linemen really showed last night, a lot of pressure on pass plays kept us on the ground most of the night, but Bellville didnt do a whole lot there until the 4th quarter.

Not making excuses, injuries are part of the game, just elaborating on 66's comment.

Elgin definatley played to their potential their QB is quick and turned a near sack into a big play many times.

Elgin had two defensive starters out. I will say #11 is the real deal at LB for Bellville. He was fun to watch. Good luck to him . I hope he recovers better than ever.
