I follow the BC X-Country team and they are working very hard at present to try to repeat as the State Champions. At present Becker, Heath and Brennan seem to be 3 of the top 5 best times in the state. Two young men Kelly & English appear to be ready to fill the last 2 team spots; however, their are three others up from the JV that should be strong competitors for these remaining two spots on the 5-spot team. The three Seniors have a goal of finishing 1-2-3 and again win the State Title. These guys love the sport and also love the fact that good scholarships are available in these sports.
They will possibly be challenged by some good runners moving in from Mexico.
